Council to honor community activist Elizabeth Lasensky

Menlo Park Mayor Rich Cline will read a proclamation honoring community activist Elizabeth Lasensky at the City Council meeting Tuesday, Jan. 26.

Elizabeth Lasensky has been a real asset to Menlo Park. We will surely miss her!

Elizabeth is a nice person, but really wasn't around very long and didn't contribute near as much as many volunteers. She was however, a political supporter of the current council majority.

Honoring volunteers is well and good, but it shouldn't be a one sided political payback.
