My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Joan Sellman. She was a sweet and kind lady and will be missed greatly. Her late husband, George, was my eighth grade teacher and my employer in later years. He and Joan were a presence at many activities in Woodside and they lived around the corner from my house.

I never met Joan, but I've heard nothing but nice things about her. May she rest in peace.
