Baykeeper sues West Bay Sanitary over sewage spills

An environmental watchdog group has filed a lawsuit against the West Bay Sanitary District and two Peninsula cities over violations of clean water laws. San Francisco Baykeeper, in a lawsuit filed Dec. 2 in U.S. District Court, contends that thousands of gallons of sewage overspills reached the San Francisco Bay over the past five years.

Oh Great. I am glad to see the recession has not affected the lawyers...When these Bozo's sue San Carlos, Millbrae, etc, who do you think they are suing. They are suing US. Six of the eleven Board members of this organization are LAWYERS........Since they are so fond of Public Records perhaps they would be willing to share how much they receive from these lawsuits that go into their pockets rather than gets spent on fixing the problem. I doubt it.

The portion of the Clean Water Act that was intended to allow private persons to sue in the event of willful failure of a Public Entity to act on the public's behalf has been hijacked by these thieves.

Like everything else these days attach the word "environmental" to any cause and the thinking stops..........
