It matters not who the lack of Authority chose, their mission remains. That is to deceive the public by making themselves appear to have integrity, and demonize those of us who see through this sham. We must deomonize the Authority, with no $9 million budget. High speed rail is a good idea. The idea will never flourish under the current structure. CHSRA is composed mostly of bad men. Beware the big lie. We do have power. Pull the plug. Repeal 1A.

Jay, not sure if it's possible to repeal 1A, though I wish it were. It might be easier to rescind the $9 million contract for the spinmeisters. These guys are out of control, but they're intent on controlling public thinking, with the public's money. Shameful.

This reeks of Washington getting a cut of a not needed PR outfit to handle this CHSRA crap. In the 6 year contract period, I would have expected HSR to have been up and running for two years already; and to bring ANYTHING remotely connected with Dick Cheney is a charade.
9 million looks like the cost of a screwhead for what this project is ultimately going to cost, and PR is a joke.
What is it about this part of the country which has everyone so rapt and caught up in old houses and Hollywood? There might be money and a center of a once leading computer world here, but it is strictly a no brain place to hang your hat and worry about underground noises and whistles and trains. What is on the table here, are jobs, lots of jobs and employment and starting with California as the place to launch the system which eventually have its web across this country and get us out of debt, while feeding our broke masses, recoup the value of the dollar which is in German Mark league in WWII.
All this is serving is NOT to originate and mislead the route of the train from San Francisco, to Sacramento and the inland route because a few powerful persons have wives who are brow beating them into not having their homes possibly taken over by eminent domain.
This is all so simple and yet it seems so crooked, you could screw it into the ground.
A P.R. firm and in the same story include the background of PSYCHO house from Hitchcock and throw in Debbie Reynolds for measure.
None of you are able to think beyond your most immediate tasks and you may have even forgotten them.
I am appalled by the lack of caring going into this CHSRA decision and as to why it must come out of this area?
The entire thing smells of corruption already, and I am getting the hang of how long it has been since California has offered anything new and worthwhile for the country; never mind the world.
Trust NO ONE.
