Homeless shelter at VA still looking for new home

The 60-bed Clara Mateo shelter on the campus of the Menlo Park Veterans Affairs hospital is still looking for a new home.

The Clara Mateo Shelter fills a need that cannot go unmet.
Given the economy, there is more need than ever for temporary shelter for families and singles who need housing.
Hopefully, the community will rally and find the resources to keep this important safety net.
