Hackers steal electronic data from top climate research center

Original post made by is climate chnage nonsense, Menlo Park: other, on Nov 21, 2009

An article in the Washington Post illustrates what behind the scenes has been know from several years.

To get a sense of this, we read:

"In one e-mail from 1999, the center's director, Phil Jones, alludes to one of Mann's articles in the journal Nature and writes, "I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (i.e., from 1981 onwards) and from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline." ".....

""It is clear that some of the 'world's leading climate scientists,' as they are always described, are more dedicated to promoting the alarmist political agenda than in scientific research," said Ebell, whose group is funded in part by energy companies. "Some of the e-mails that I have read are blatant displays of personal pettiness, unethical conniving, and twisting the science to support their political position."

The Al Gore led global warming hysteria has never been backed by good scientific data.

Gail Slocum and her protege Kelly Fergusson teamed up to build up this hysteria in Menlo Park. It is really interesting to see how they both can support a project like the Bohannon monster and still claim to be "green" advocates. In any case, neither are they scientists and only parrot the Al Gore theme.

It would be nice to see those pushing the green here, answer to questions like this. Have we, and are we being led down a path to solve what doesn't exist? Their answer will be no for sure, but then again, what we need are some scientific experts, not lawyers and politicians to weigh in on this.

Maybe it is time for Menlo Park and California to re-think their newly adopted "green policies" which now are coming unraveled.
