I have listened to all the candidates and it is clear that both Bob Ferrando and Chris Thomsen are the two strongest candidates. It is clear that they both want to manage the budget and keep successful educational options availible to the all high school students in our comunity. The current board is in need of strong, fair and honest leadership. Ferrando and Thomsen are troubled by the way the current budget is being managed or lack of management. They call for transparency and fairness not what is currently happening. They also support the very successful charter school Summit and the new charter Everest. They both see the success of these schools as an opportunity not a threat. Two frightening candidates are Sarver and Chang-Kiraly. They are happy to wast tax payer money, lack character and are willing to keep the suhsd just the way it is. They are unethical and dishonest. We need a positive change and Ferrando and Thomsen are the two who deserve your vote.
