Train whistles to become less noisy

Amid sustained complaints from residents since Caltrain moved its train whistles to the tops of its engines, the rail agency has begun work on a project to return the whistles to their original location beneath the engines.

If you think the CalTrain horn noise wsa a disaster, just wait until they bring in the bulldozers and tear up the community for High Speed Rail. Six to eight years of construction and traffic congestion like you wouldn't believe. Those who were around should remember San Carlos during their grade separation period. Menlo Park won't be a nice place to be around.
