Hi Steve,

You are not serious when you say that mentioning that the armed burglers were "black" was not PC, right? It is a very important description of guilty parties, as is their height. It is not racial "profiling".

Also, I hope that everyone noticed that the victims had left a door open. We may live in a "safe" neighborhood, but this isn't the 1950s. Folks need to realize that people do come into our neighborhoods solely for the purpose of committing crimes. You may have great neighbors, but no neighborhood is "safe" in these days where everyone has a car and can go drive over to the target of the day. I agree with Raul. Also, ask your local police officer. They will verify this. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
