So Mr. Peterson advocated for HSR until he found out that it'd come thru his backyard? And now he is against it and he is exploiting the "freight issue" / legal process to force the route back to the east?
When if the route come east, it comes thru MY backyard. There are 90+ Menlo Park properties directly adjacent to the east route rail track, versus 50 something in the current El Camino route.
I think the Menlo Park residents along the east rail track route should file a law suit against Mr. Peterson, and against the Menlo Park City Council for that matter.
Someone should also hold the City Council responsible. Why are they filing the law suit to try to move the route east, WITHOUT consulting the people who live along the east route?

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, Paul. Menlo Park has about as much of a shot of getting the route shifted from Pacheco to Altamont as I do of winning the Miss Universe pagent.
