Are any MP residents getting free (or discounted) tickets this year?
That regular admission price of $15 is pretty darn stiff given the economy.
Also I notice that no mention is made of this event on the city website. Looks like the city is no longer interested in it.

From my vantage point as a neighbor, the fair is getting its best turnout ever. There were throngs of people waiting to get in when it opened and long lines at the gate later. Our neighborhood is full of cars.
Nearby neighbors get free tickets because the fair is a major inconvenience for us. I had a hard time getting out of the neighborhood this morning. I really don't understand why people pay so much money to go to it, but for free, it's an okay way to spend a few hours.
