I'm Paul Hoekenga. I am grateful to Evan for saving my life. He had the courage, the skill, and the willingness to reach out to help a stranger in trouble. Not many people would do what he did. He also didn't panic in a very pressured and dangerous situation but instead did exactly what he needed to do to save my life. We've met a couple of times. He's an impressive young man who I'm sure will go on to make a difference in the world and in other people's lives as well.
