Has Steve Jobs won battle over Jackling house?

For eight years, Apple Inc. founder Steve Jobs has been trying to tear down the 1920s-era Jackling mansion in Woodside so he could build a smaller and more modern home on his Mountain Home Road property.

The Menlo Park City Council should have used its BMR fund to move the Jackling mansion to Bay Front Park, do a complete restoration and lease it out to ACORN and the Northern California Chapter of the ACLU for $1/year.
