Original post made on May 7, 2009

A great store and very friendly owners

When we had a house in WMP we would take our kids there all the time for treats and we would buy from the great selection of foods plus the home made pickles, great to know they are still in action we are going back this weekend from Palo Alto which has no stores like this

We love Naks, and go often for the fresh Tofu, and steaming hot and just pressed Soy Milk that they sell. I also have purchased several Mandolines to use and give as gifts that they carry. They are used to finely slice or grate vegetables. They are the perfect one stop shopping for Japanese food, and save me a trip to Cupertino or to Los Altos Grant Road to pick up must have items. I am constantly amazed, everytime I need something, I just ask and they have it. How they do that with such a small store I do not know. Ofcourse the candies and rice crackers and tea and gyoza and you get the point. May they live long and prosper at this location.

It's a gem of a store. I love the Japanese snack foods, and the owners are very nice. I also adore the Dutch chocolate sprinkles they carry.

My family has been going to Naks since the early 70's.The store has gotten smaller but the service is excellent and friendly as always. You'll find many wonderful items. Even after moving 30 miles away I'm willing to drive to Naks for the type of Pork Steam Buns they carry and other items that can't be found in your regular grocery store.
