Peninsula Volunteers starts new "Brain Stormers" program

Original post made by Barbara Kalt, Menlo Park: Central Menlo Park, on Apr 22, 2009

As an extension of its 60 years of service to aging adults, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. is adding a new activity-based program called "Brain Stormers" for adults concerned about memory loss and seeking to proactively enhance their memory skills. The program is a holistic approach, offering social interaction, physical and mental stimulation, and community involvement.

Peninsula Volunteers "Brain Stormers" meets once weekly at Little House, the Roslyn G. Morris Activity Center, at 800 Middle Avenue, Menlo Park. Prospective members will be individually interviewed to determine qualification. For more information, call Shawn Evans at 650-322-0126.

Would be interested, but can't afford to join now as I am out of work.

I'm 70.

What can you do for people that can't afford it??
