Even in difficult financial times such as they are, it is still imperative for residents of small towns to protect their retail./ Without services we can really not be a healthy community. I hope that our residents chosse to protect and support our retail. We need to get the post office back!

I am a strong supporter of local retail, but I don't think that gas stations are the best retailers to support. Their environmental cost is quite high, and they don't bring as much value to the community as other stores.

I think there's a distinction between a mere gas station and a service station. Every community needs a reliable service station nearby.
