'We averted a major disaster'

A facility in Redwood City that treats wastewater for Menlo Park, Atherton and other local towns narrowly escaped this week what could have been the biggest sewage spill ever into the San Francisco Bay, the facility's manager said Thursday.

The person who located the valve should be recognized. Not only he saved the Treatment Plant but saved the environment. Good Job.
