Camp Galileo Offers 1,800 Camper Scholarships; Comes to Woodside

Original post made by Katherine Chouteau, another community, on Feb 4, 2009

Camp Galileo, a summer enrichment program for Pre-K through 5th graders that's opening a site at Woodside Elementary June 16, is offering early-bird discounts and camper scholarships for families struggling against the economic tide.

In their efforts toward making summertime fun accessible to everyone, Camp Galileo is offering up to $110 off for enrollments completed by February 27th. In addition, the Galileo Scholarship Program will offer 1,800 scholarships to campers, a figure representing about 10% of the company's total available spots at a value of over $450,000. The final deadline for scholarship applications is April 24th.

The camp features a hands-on, age-appropriate summer enrichment curriculum revamped annually with its partners at the de Young Museum (art), The Tech Museum of Innovation (science) and KlutzĀ® (outdoors). For more info or to donate to the scholarship program, please call 1-800-854-3684 or visit www.galileo-learning.com.
