Green parking lots in city's future?

In reviewing preliminary plans for renovation of a parking plaza between Crane and Chestnut streets at Oak Grove Avenue, the Menlo Park City Council unanimously passed a motion for the city to consider various "green" measures when it drafts the final plans for the lot.

Green Parking Garages are a better idea. Charging stations for electrical cars are a good idea too. These charging stations should be able to accept credit cards so that people pay for what they use.
