Menlo Park sergeants in line for 30 percent pay raise over 30 months

Sergeants in the Menlo Park Police Department are set to get a 30 percent raise over the next two and a half years.

The 30% pay raise over 3 years is a bit excessive. What would be more prudent would be to offer 5% pay increase compounded annually. The City Council has a fudiciary responsibility to the residents of Menlo Park and should act in our best interest.
