When Boyle actually rejects a developer just once then he can act as a credible source. What a joke. Howell needs to hit the books and stop acting like a mouth piece.

Mr Boyle should check the city clerk's record of 2006 contributions to John Boyle for Council...Peter Pau (Sand Hill Dev. former Shepard Cadillac) $2,000., Jeff Warmoth (Sand Hill Dev) $2,000., Bohannon $2,500., PAC's, Spieker, Russ Collier, etc., etc., we stopped counting at $10K
Were their some other developers who provided "in kind" contributions?
Boyle should watch his allegations about "questionable contributions" with his unclean hands so publicly exposed.

This issue here was a pay increase that amounted to, as I understand it, a total extra outlay of $25,000 per year. Talk about making mountains out of mole hills.


However, when the full SEIU contract comes up, that is another matter. Now you are talking big bucks. The SEIU got an immense increase in their defined benefit program on last go around, much more then they deserved. With new budget pressures coming for sure, they should not be given anything on this round. I think the City should be willing to put up with a strike to get wages back into some sort of reasonable perspective.

Cohen is really smart. Why take $1000 and risk being labeled with this kind of garbage. He is the smartest guy on council and again shows us why.
