As an individual attempting to start a charter school in a suburban community in another state, I am always sad to hear of a school board decision produced out of fear and based solely on opinion rather than fact and history. Keep your chin up and your nose to the grindstone. I believe that eventually you will win. I applaud your efforts.

It's obvious that there is a demand for this type of school, or Summit would not have had 325 applicants for 100 freshman spots. Summit is working, but doesn't have room for everyone. Let's make another one! Sequoia UHSD, what are you thinking? What are you afraid of??
