John Johns pursues lawsuit against Atherton

John Johns, Atherton's former finance director, is pursuing the $500,000 wrongful termination lawsuit against the town that he dropped in March, when a judge told him he would have to choose between suing Atherton and avoiding the possibility of incriminating himself in a parallel criminal investigation.

Last night I was asked If I knew of any Abuse of Authority case that involved Steve Wagstaffe. I laughed and said everybody knows about Chief Robert Brennan and the criminal investigation that was conducted by Ivan Grosshouser the subject of this criminal investigation was Atherton's Finance Director John Johns. This investigation should have lasted about six minutes. Steve Wagstaffe kept it open long enough to impact testimony in a civil trial.
