Ex-MP firefighter sentenced for attempting to have his wife killed

A retired Menlo Park district firefighter was sentenced in Santa Clara County court Thursday to 12 years and four months in prison for attempting to have his wife killed, according to the district attorney's office.

I'm shocked and saddened by this. I knew him from Awalt High School. Always seemed to be the non aggressive type and unmotivated person. Shame he made it to a successful life and career only to ruin it over a failed marriage. He should never see the light of day. We can't have this in our community.
