Voters invited to avoid election day tsunami

Local voters have the opportunity to vote early and avoid the Election Day rush Tuesday.
On Saturday, Feb. 2, and Monday, Feb. 4, voters can drop off absentee ballots or vote in person at the San Mateo County Elections Office on the first floor of 555 County Center, located on Bradford Street near Middlefield Road in Redwood City. The office will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

    Thank you for this story. My absentee ballot never reached me, so I learned that I could just pop on down - which I did today.
