M-A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Falls to Bellarmine

Original post made by Alison Blank, Menlo-Atherton High School, on Mar 26, 2007

The boys varsity lacrosse team lost to Bellarmine 8-6 in a rain drenched contest Monday afternoon. The Bear’s mighty defense held the Bells scoreless in the second half. An exciting a fourth quarter drive brought them to within two points. Mark Gregory led the scoring with two goals, with Alex Johnson, David Merrill, Kevin Flaherty, and Will Hyrne contributing a goal each. David McLaughlin had five assists, and Bo Dunnahoo-Kirsch had 10 saves. The team meets Woodside at home Wednesday at 4:00.
