Foster City approves lowering speed limit for NEVs (neighborhood electric vehicles)

In an article in The Examiner dated 3/21/07, Jason Goldman-Ham reports that Foster City approved lowering the speed limits in the town so that residence could use NEVs (Neighborhood Electric Vehicles) in and around the community safely. I think lowering the speed limits in MP and encouraging the use of NEVs in MP would be a great help in making our streets more pedsetrian and bicycle friendly which in turn would improve our traffic and parking problems. Getting folks out of their huge cars into smaller slower quieter vehicles for local trips could go a long way in helping our community. Follow the link below for the article.
