Barbara, -- Darlene and I also went to Ireland traveling with two adult couples and had a great time. We spent half the trip on a luxury bus with a funny driver named Teague. We stayed in B&Bs for most of the trip but two nights in downtown Dublin in a hotel. We did the Guinness tour (not to be missed) and also saw the Book of Kells at Trinity College. Like you, we visited the Southern & Western half of Ireland and visited many of the same areas and towns as you. We enjoyed the Waterford (crystal) tour in a seaside town as well. My bro-in-law and rented clubs and played golf at one local course -- just to say we did. The last week of our trip we rented a car and drove around the Western end of the country staying at local B&Bs. It was fun to be on our own without the tour, but the tour had advantages too so we're glad we had both options.
