Former students, teachers, families say farewell to Portola Valley School

The spirit of the long-closed Portola Valley School, known affectionately as "PVS," soared again Oct. 12 when the town of Portola Valley staged a farewell and tribute to the elementary school that was the hub of the growing community from 1948 to 1976.

I loved living in Woodside I went to
Corte Madera from kindergarten to fourth grade and was one of the students that went on the gold rush trip
