A few year ago I had a campaign sign stolen from my front yard and it angered me tremendously. Not only did the culprit trespass and steal my property, they interfered with my first amendment right to express myself.
Now, a few years later history is repeating itself. I understand quite a few signs have recently been stolen from the front yards of Sharon Heights and Unversity Heights homes.
The idea that we can not put up whatever campaign signs that we wish and have them left alone is outrageous. I hope we can get to the bottom of this nonsense, and stop the theft of signs immediately. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to express their opinions.
