In response to "Portola Valley residents push for town to submit housing plan by January deadline"

"The deadline was 1/31/2023. PV is already a year late - but that is what happens when the entire professional staff quits. Which begs the question of why they left?"
In response to "Customers buy Country Sun, avert closure"
Posted Jan 3 at 10:13 p.m. by Jan Schachter, a resident of Portola Valley's Westridge neighborhood:
"I have been a big fan of Country Sun for years, and was disappointed to learn it was closing. It is wonderful to learn some of the details in the plan to keep it in business. Such a rare bright side to the current economy — where personal, on site retail is getting more and more rare."
In response to "Fan who broke into Steph Curry's home to get an autograph turned himself in, Atherton police say"
Posted Jan. 9 at 4:50 p.m. by Brian, a resident of Menlo Park's The Willows neighborhood:
"'Fan who broke into Steph Curry's home' isn't this a little sensational and misleading? An earlier story said (he) buzzed the driveway gate and was let in. When he got to the door it was open and he entered. When he was asked to leave he left. Now that may amount to bad decisions, never enter a house unless invited in, but it seems to fall far short of 'broke in.' Unless there is something not reporter here or in the previous article then he should get a warning and move on. Curry should take a look at his security and talk to the nanny about locking the door and not buzzing in people." n
