Angela, who grew up in San Mateo, previously reported for the Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Mateo Daily Journal. She holds a master's degree in investigative reporting from American University. She interned at The Washington Post while completing her master's. She also holds a bachelor's degree in U.S. history and Spanish from University of California, Davis.
