Angela Swartz joined The Almanac in 2018. She reports on youth and education, and the towns of Atherton, Portola Valley and Woodside. Angela, who grew up in San Mateo, previously reported for the Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Mateo Daily Journal. She holds a master's degree in investigative reporting from American University. She interned at The Washington Post while completing her master's.
