Escaped burglary suspect found in Menlo Park

A suspect in a series of San Mateo County burglaries was arrested Thursday but managed to briefly escape from custody while being questioned at the Hall of Justice, according to the county Sheriff's Office.

Really, escaped while being questioned in the Hall of Justice. Hopefully there will be a thorough study of holding and processing procedures with a follow-up report to the public. That is of course unless they misplace the report.
