Duran Duran to play benefit concert at The Guild

Legendary band Duran Duran is set to play a benefit concert at The Guild on Aug. 19. The show will raise funds for the Cancer Awareness Trust. Tickets go on sale the week of July 17.

I was a fan of Duran Duran through the 1980s. It's sad to see many of these bands have become caricatures of themselves. I watch recent live performances of "the hits" and it's almost like a cover band is muddling through the song.
