I work in areas that support this population the current chief of probation will allow anyone to come in to juvenile hall
You should check the records to see who is allowed in to see the folks in there

He is not particular who comes in to see those young men only that it benefits him

This is a good start but the abuses against juveniles in San Mateo County started decades before probation officer John Domeniconi arrived on the scene in 1985.

It doesn't come closer to telling the full story of the breadth and extent of abuses of juveniles in San  Mateo County.

The San Francisco Chronicle has a story up today "Justice System Enabled a Doctor to Abuse" about the juvenile victims of Dr. William Ayres who have filed a lawsuit against multiple county agencies. Web Link

Ayres had contracts with the juvenile courts from 1963-to 2004. That's 41 years! Allegations by the juvenile victims of Ayres include rape. Also, two victims state that when they complained about the abuse, they were thrown into isolation cells.

Lawsuit alleges that  DA Steve Wagstaffe failed to provide adequate assistance into an investigation into a juvenile judge who was sending boys to Ayres.
Here's hoping local San Mateo papers will continue the coverage of this shocking lawsuit
