Stanford to cut striking nurses' pay, health care benefits

Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital administrators have announced they will cut off health insurance benefits to striking nurses and their families as well as pay.

Stanford has been and continues to be a bad neighbor to Menlo Park and now they are a pretty bad employer, not surprised. They are greedy to the extreme and with the amounts of money they are accruing and the way they treat everyone, their non-profit status should really be questioned.

I don't know anything about this negotiation. But this is yet another reason why healthcare / health insurance shouldn't be tied to employment or our employers.

What a slap in the face to the dedicated nurses who have given their all to their patients and the hospital for the past almost 3 years. Shame on you Stanford Hospital Management! Cutting your nurses' pay for striking????!!!! Disgusting!
