While I don't agree with most of Mr. Pence's viewpoints, I am glad that Stanford invited him to speak and that students of all political affiliations came to hear and share their perspectives. We do need more open dialog to find areas of alignment and mutual support to address the many pressing needs of our country.

Beautifully said MenloDad, even though I do agree with most of Pence's viewpoints. :) We must make available the opportunity to give differing viewpoints, and have open dialogue in order to live as a productive society. Mob rule, cancelling people, woke agendas, riots etc., at the end of the day, do not help sustain or create even a better society.
