As is the case with most Measures, Propositions and Resolutions, there are positive things mixed in with the negative. In the case of Measure A (a poorly written amendment to the municipal code), there are over a dozen adjacent residential lots to the Town Center which become candidates for commercial expansion. Even though the desire to improve parking at CaƱada Corners might be understandable, this Measure opens the door for further expansion of the commercial district in every direction. READ IT CAREFULLY. It completely unravels Measure J approved by voters in 1988. The Woodside you love today was preserved for us to enjoy over 30 years ago. Measure A is a complete affront to Woodside's General Plan, put forward by out-of-town interests. Vote NO.
