I commend the family for volunteering to be part of this important clinical trial. Hopefully, there will be adequate supply of vaccines available for students for fall classes. I am eligible to be vaccinated now but have not been able to make an appointment due to the ridiculous short supply in the Bay Area. I have recently read that our area won't get the number of vaccines it was promised. I don't understand how demand, which is very high in the Bay Area, isn't calculated when allocated vaccines. My sisters have all been vaccinated in Orange and Riverside Counties without any wait...so frustrating and I know I am not the only one. But again kudos to this family.
