I disagree with the prohibition of short posts. Brevity should be encouraged.
The two sentences above would not be permitted. How does that make sense?
Heck, this entire post would not be allowed.
Moderator response:
Your comment was a total of 194 characters and therefore is almost exactly the minimum of 200 characters. As was stated in the article, however, this is not an automatically imposed minimum, it is a guideline. Moderators will use their discretion, and if a person makes a thoughtful comment in under 200 characters it won't be removed.

If I were allowed to keep it brief, I'd just write "Amen" to show my support for these much needed changes. A lot has changed in the world since Palo Alto Online launched. We now have Twitter, where for past President and MyPillow guy are both banned. The alternative site Parler came and went, but Embarcadero's service is still standing. Thanks Bill Johnson!

Social media shouldn't be a trash can because social media is a powerful tool for influencing people's minds. I recently read a creative collection of texts Web Link on this topic and I can say that Instagram and Facebook can become a filter of true and false information. The internal policy of these resources helps to implement blocking of most trash content.
