Combining Las Lomitas school district with one or two others is long past due. A district with two schools? I have been singing this song since the district started renting the Ladera Elementary School many years ago, causing the youngest in our neighborhood to ride buses rather than walk to school. We can start controlling overblown school bureaucracies right here. Send your emails, letters, and posts to the people who can get it done--the nearby school districts for a start and the state superintendent for certain.

Portola Valley also has two schools; Woodside has one.
