State to enter more serious regional stay-in-place order in coming days

Original post made on Dec 3, 2020

So Tesla employees are exempt from the Covid-19 orders but everyone else has to follow them? Can someone explain the logic here? Making cars is now essential? While I plan to keep following the common sense precautions like wearing a mask and keeping a social distance from anyone not in my household, I do not personally plan to follow these new, and arbitrary orders that are being ignored by politicians like Newsom (dinner at the French Laundry with people from multiple households), Sam Liccardo (Thanksgiving with family from 5 different households) and SF Mayor London Breed (dinner for 8 at the French Laundry the night after Newsom dined there). What a bunch of hypocrites. Maybe someone can explain the arbitrary 150 mile rule. If I travel 149 miles I don't need to do anything but if I cross 150 I now have to quarantine for 14 days? Where is the logic here?

Darwin will prevail.

Peter,

Very unlikely, as I said I follow the common sense guidelines. You fail to comment on why Tesla employees are exempt is sheltering-at-home is so important and why there is an arbitrary 150 mile limit? Do those make sense to you?
