Earlier this week, a small number of friends and relatives made their way to Aptos to celebrate the 100th birthday of Jean Rusmore, a former longtime Ladera resident and author of popular local hiking guides.

Jean was a friend many years ago with LWV. She came to a "bridal shower" for me in 2006 while she was at the Vi. We are partners in preserving the open spaces in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties How can I contact her and wish her well on her 100th.
