I want to congratulate the Almanac for adhering to the long-standing ‘innocent until proven guilty’ policy of jurisprudence in our country. Not naming the possible perpetrator until a court of law finds them guilty is the right thing to do.

"The San Mateo County Jail declined to accept him for booking due to the coronavirus pandemic, and he was issued a notice to appear and released."
Anyone else concerned that this guy was released with only a notice?

It's unfortunate the Sheriff's Office can't set aside a section of the jail for housing possible COVID-19 inmates. Guaranteed, this guy is going to offend again - it's a sickness, a way of life. Did anyone check to see if he is a registered sex offender? And, he was released from the field on his written promise to appear in court. Is he a good risk? Will he show up? Hope the Almanac follows up on this case and keeps us posted. It's pretty frightening to know you can't go shopping at a downtown hardware store in the middle of the day, and have to worry about the possibility of being groped!

What an insult to these victims. Basically being told their trauma is meaningless compared to the rights of this prevert.
