Thank you Ms. Cebrian. This is so true. 

Reading has been around for centuries and has both increased levels of literacy and brought families together.  I appreciate the examples that you shared, as well as your interest in helping strengthen the quality of family time. Your piece speaks to something that has always been important,  but is even more so now.  Long live the old fashioned practice of Family Read Alouds.
