I remember working with Bob on the Library Commission. He was wise in so many ways and was inspiring .. his ability to vision, to get things done, and to care were gifts he gave to whatever he did.

I met Bob a few years ago. He inspired me to get involved in community volunteerism. He was an amazing person, very humble, very kind. He had a strong sense of right and wrong and wasn’t afraid to speak out about his beliefs. I will miss seeing his happy, smiling, welcoming face around town.

I am not certain about the circumstances surrounding Bob’s death. I wasn’t able to attend his memorial. I had heard he had pneumonia and died suddenly. Can we be certain Bob did not die from COVID-19? It may not seem like an important detail, but it has been weighing on my mind for some time. I thought I would post about it here in case somebody has info about it.

RIP Bob. ❤️
