Well that is an even better reason for me to vote for Brownrigg.

Well deserved. Jerry Hill voted against SB50 protecting local control in City planning. His endorsement means alot to many in this election.

As mere voters, we may not have a good chance to talk directly to the several candidates. I see Michael Brownrigg has had a few thousand coffees. So he has tried. But here is my question for the incumbent: on what date did you interview each of the candidates running to succeed you? If you only interviewed Josh Becker, then you might only know that Becker would be as good as Becker. If you did not even interview Becker, what is the basis for the endorsement?

It's safe to assume that Jerry Hill has met all the candidates that were seeking his endorsement. Anyone running for Senate should have attended one of Jerry's coffees or other events. Any person that has never bothered to make an appointment to meet with the current Senator should not be considered a viable candidate.

Rich white guy endorses rich white guy. Le sigh. If you want a QUALIFIED candidate, vote Sally Lieber.

Sally was a three-term State Assemblywoman who had previously served as a Councilwoman and Mayor of Mountain View as well as a County Commissioner. In the State Assembly, she was Speaker pro Tempore.

In her political career, Sally led on issues including environmental protection, alternative energy, human rights, access to education, prison reform, and government transparency. You can find out more about her legislative record of accomplishments at www.sallylieber.org. No other candidate can match her.

Sally also has a strong record as a humanitarian activist and she has worked with refugee families and people overcoming homelessness and incarceration. Go, Sally!

With the PG&E Public Safety Power Outages, Senator Hill introduced SB 248.
What is Mr. Becker's position on SB 248.

Rich white guy? Now that’s racist pure and simple. Mr. King did not categorize racism as being exclusive to one race. Please refrain. Would you say rich black guy, or rich Jew?

It was Jerry Hill who as a San Mateo Board Supervisor in 2002 nominated and gave Dr. William Ayres the Lifetime Achievement Award for his "tireless efforts in improving the lives of children." After Ayres was arrested for molesting young boys, Ayres' victims were upset because Jerry Hill BLOCKED them on his Facebook page when they complained about him giving Ayres the Lifetime Achievement Award. I would stay clear of anyone Jerry Hill endorses.
