I'm really glad they are revisiting this issue! I have a very recent email from FlyQuietSFO spelling out that SFO is overcapacity, and that that is why there are so many planes circling over this area. There simply isn't enough room to accommodate the incoming traffic to SFO on any day at all, regardless of weather. Happy to forward this to the Senator.

It has become so noisy over the past few years. It’s gotten to the point where I walk around with earplugs in because of the constant booking of the jets overhead. And if you look at them, they aren’t just 737s and such, some are HUGE 747s/380s flying right over our small towns. Is it possible to declare a no fly zone over certain areas of town? I know Newport Beach does this and it’s something the town should look into. The planes could be rerouted over lower areas to the East thus minimizing impact.

How about a bill to ban leaf blowers. As noisy as some of those planes.
