All over the world indigenous buriel sites have been dug up and replaced with shopping malls & large office complexes. Christian churches have been built over places sacred to indigenous peoples. That goes back to the Romans building their churches over druid sites and other religions. Here in the Bay Area, Native people are fighting to preserve their sacred sites and the bones of their ancestors. I hope this project will be done (or not done) with sensitivity.
